number. Then work toward fifty reps.

This exercise will really strengthen your abs which will help you lose that
pooch and it will also help you walk straighter and with more confidence than ever before. Drawing In: This exercise
is perfect for women who just had a baby because not only will it help you lose weight, but it
will strengthen your back, abs and overall core, which will help your posture and increase your metabolism at the same

shoulders. Pull in your abs while making sure to keep your spine and neck in line with each other. Breathe

crib or bassinet. Lie down on your back and put your legs straight up into the air. Slightly lift your
chest and abs off the ground while also lifting your arms (make sure to keep them straight). After lowering yourself
back down, repeat the exercise between 20-50 times. This is great for burning lots of calories and making your core
strong. Doing this exercise three times each week will make the pounds drop off like magic!

The Super Crunch:
This exercise should be included as part of every post-birth workout. In this exercise, you need to lie down while
keeping your knees bent and your feet sitting flat on the floor. Your hands should rest behind your head and,
while taking deep breaths in and out, hold your abs in and left your head and your shoulders off of
the floor. Hold that position for a moment while you lift your knees up off of the floor until they
touch your elbows (keep your hips off the ground). Then, slowly return to the start. Do three sets of twelve
to twenty and your abdominals will be rock hard in no time, and that weight will start coming off too./>
Bridge Squeeze: To do this exercise, lie on your back while bending your knees but keeping your feet flat
on the floor. Put a pillow between your knees and draw your ab muscles in. Take a deep breath in
and then let it out while you tighten the muscles in your bottom and lift your hips to make a
straight line with your body. Squeeze the pillow for two counts and then lower your hips back down. Do this
ten times for three sets.

That's quite a lot of calories with very few stretching movements on your part.
You can find moves for your workout through DVDs, online videos or even books. One of the best exercises to
do after giving birth is to lie on your back and bend your knees. Put your hands behind your head
and take a breath. Then contract your abs, lift your head and shoulders off of the floor and breathe back
out. Then, move your legs into a forty five degree angle while you extend your arms, keeping your palms down.
Pump your arms in a rhythmic manner while inhaling for five beats. Then breathe back out for five beats. If
you can do 100 of these a day you'll get into shape faster than you think!Forearm Plank With Breathing: For
this post-natal workout to lose weight, you'll get down on your hands and knees, making sure your wrists are directly
under your shoulders. Once in this position you will lower yourself until your forearms are flat on the floor. Straighten
your legs to make a straight line. Inhaling deeply through the nose and letting it out through the mouth while
squeezing the abs and hold the position. Next lower your chest to the floor doing pushups for 30 seconds. Repeat
this three times and you'll be well on your way to your pre-pregnancy weight. These exercises strengthen your core and
help correct poor posture and you'll look better too.

Air Bike: This fantastic exercise begins with you lying on
the ground and raising one knee to meet the elbow on the opposite side (left knee to right elbow) and
then repeating the action with the other limbs as well (right knee to left elbow). Then, repeat on the other
side. This is a great calorie burner and ab strengthener which is very important to women who have just given
birth.The Bicycle: Don't worry, this doesn't involve an actual bicycle. This is an ab exercise that works really well for
women who want to lose weight after giving birth. Begin with lying down so that your calves are parallel to
the floor and your knees are bent. Place your hands behind your head and then inhale and exhale back out
while you suck in your abdominal muscles. Keep your posterior muscles relaxed as you stretch out your right leg and
move your right shoulder to your left knee. Your shoulders and your head should come up off of the ground
as you do this movement. Then return to your starting position and then repeat the same on the other side.
Complete three sets of between twelve and twenty of these and you will soon see that your pregnancy weight is
gone.Walking: In 2007 a Harvard study proved that a half an hour of walking each day increases a woman's chances
of losing her baby weight. Women in this study lost an average of eleven pounds and most of them had
lost all of the weight they wanted to lose by their kids's first birthdays. Therefore, get outside and get some
fresh air. It doesn't matter what time of day you choose to walk, but if you are going to take
your baby with you make sure you choose weather that is baby friendly.

Also, make sure you bring plenty
of liquids with you. Do this every single day and you will drop your weight really quickly.Lunges: Lunges work all
of the major muscles in your legs which makes them wonderful calorie burners. Not only do these lunges help you
lose pounds, they build your muscles which helps you burn calories, even while you are resting. To do a proper
lunge, stand with your feet hip-width apart, put your hands on your hips and bring your abs in. Move your
left foot forward until your knee bends at a 90 degree angle. Keeping your right leg straight behind you, bend

your other leg. Do this five times on each side for a killer leg workout.The classic crunch is an exercise
most people already know how to do that helps greatly. You can do crunches by lying flat on you back
with knees bent and hands behind your head. Inhale through your nose and then exhale as you draw your abs
in while lifting your head and shoulders off the floor. While you're doing that, bring your ribs towards your hips
while relaxing your bottom. Now slowly recover to your initial position. As you gain endurance you'll want to increase to
50 at some point. Reaching 50 means you have built up your endurance and may want to try adding weight

do them while your baby takes a nap and you can break up your workout to doing several exercises throughout
the day instead of trying to do everything at once. Of course, if you do them all at once, or
any other exercises for 20-30 minutes three times a week, you'll lose your weight even faster. So do these exercises
as often as you can, and keep it up, and you'll be fitting into your pre-baby jeans before you even
realize it.

you need to look great for that special occasion. You have tried your favourite suit or dress and can't fit
into it. Now you realize you have put on too much weight but it is too late. What can you

keep in mind that a quick weight loss within a week is not advisable; reason being the timing is too

weight in a week. If you have treadmills at home, then put more time in it and walking or running
(either indoor or outdoors) are good fat burning exercise. When you exercise by walking or engage in other exercise, take
precaution. If you feel tired and mildly puffing, take a rest. You may be working too hard and your body
can't cope with it. When this happens, you body will draw energy from your carbohydrate reserves and not from your
fat reserves and this again will not help to shed extra pounds. So you have the abovementioned weight loss program
that is going to help you to lose weight in a week. My advice is to stick to this program
on short-term basis (one to two weeks) as this intensity to lose weight is just too quick. You may face
trouble sustaining the program. Instead of thinking short-term, think long-term which is more practical. By losing weight through a long-term
program, you will be shedding those pounds on permanent basis. You can aim to lose 2 pounds per week, and
then between 30 to 50 pounds in a period of six months. Try not to engage in any quick short-term
weight loss plan as whatever pounds you lose, may come back to you. It's just not worth taking risk to
lose weight in a week.

By far one of the most popular workouts ever, if not the most popular, was the 300 workout the actors
from the movie "300" performed while they were training for their roles. While the traditional 300 workout was a "right
of passage" rather than a workout performed on a frequent basis, people still loved the idea and even became addicted

exercises performed for a prescribed number of repetitions, and the total number equaled 300.
That workout required barbells and other

a pause during the 50 bodyweight squats, that's fine. Just complete the circuit as fast as possible, and make sure
to time yourself. Oh, and just so you know there is a total of 300 repetitions in that workout. Create

Most people need motivation to lose weight. The motivation has to go deep. I hear superficial reasons to loseweight like, "I want to look good in a bikini" or, "I want to look good for the opposite sex."
While these reasons seem like they'd be good motivators, they don't go deep enough to keep most people motivated for
the long haul. Here are some tips that will keep you motivated on your weight loss journey.

Motivation comes

want to lose weight because a lot of my family members have died from obesity. I also want to lose
